Ferion is a turnbased multiplayer game, also known as a PBBG, that requires tactics, diplomacy and good governing. You the player will start as a leader of a planetary race. Your goal will be to explore the universe, invent new technologies, build up new planets,
design build and manage your fleets and deal with other empires. Ferion distinguishes itself from other games by offering alot of balanced features, which makes the game about tactics, how good you are... Q: Is Ferion free?
A: Yes and No, We allow you to trial Ferion unlimited. This means you can join any game at Ferion for free, without costs.. Once you are doing well you will run into a limitation in the techtree, we ask a small fee to remove the limit.
Q: How much does a game cost?
A: You can trial every game unlimited, unlocking the techtree costs 5 euro's per game.
Q: How long does a game last?, and how often do you start new games?
A: A game can run upto 2 months, and we start new games every week.
Q: Do I need a fast internet connection?
A: No, you can download our gfx-pack and setup your browser to load the graphics from your local disk. Also all the pages sent to your browser are compressed. Ferion will play fast even on a 56k modem.
Q: Do I need a credit card or something like that?
A: We support all major credit cards and other popular international payment methods. Also we have a referral system that allows you to play for free.
Q: Will I be able to compete with the veteran players??
A: We try to balance the game so that it is enjoyable for veteran and starting players, new players are given the option to go trough a crash-course to learn the game without having to worry about other players. Also we have special novice games where the superplayers cannot play. These measures have proven to be very effective.
